Ditch the pressure to “get it right” and learn how to align your decisions with who
you really are.

We’ve all faced those moments: a job offer, a big move, a tempting promotion — and the
question lingers, “Is this the right decision?”

The truth is, most of us are taught to make career decisions based on logic, salary, status, or
what looks good on paper. But when we make decisions from the outside in, we often end
up misaligned, unfulfilled, or burned out.

So what’s the alternative?

It starts with tapping into what I call your internal compass — the blend of your values,
energy, purpose, and timing. In my coaching and Human Design work, I help clients discover
their own built-in guidance system. Here’s a peek into what that looks like:

  1. Tune into your energy.** If the idea of the role lights you up, excites you, or brings a deep sense of satisfaction, that’s a clue. If it feels like a ‘should,’ notice that too.
  2. Know your decision-making strategy.** In BG5/Human Design, every type has a unique strategy (like waiting for clarity, responding to opportunities, or waiting for recognition). This radically changes how you approach decisions.
  3. Pause and feel.** Sometimes we rush into action because we’re uncomfortable with the unknown. Give yourself space. The right decision often becomes clear when we stop pushing.

The bottom line: The best decisions feel like alignment — not pressure. And when you learn
to trust yourself, you make moves that not only make sense but feel right.

Need help finding your own career compass? Let’s explore your blueprint together.
